1. Experimental animals: SPF level healthy ICR mice, male, 8 weeks, weight (25±2)g.

3. Experimental group
Group A: blank group with ten mice. Group B: medicated group with ten mice. 2mg diazepam were fed to 1kg mouse a day, and by this analogy.

5. Modeling approach
The mice in medicated group were given corresponding dose of diazepam tablets by intragastric administration twice a day for seven days. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon. Blank group were given distilled water with the same volume. 10g mice were given by gavage with 50ul solution. Kept mice from eating for 8 hours before the mice were given by gavage in the morning of the eighth day. After forty minutes, elevated plus-maze test was began. Record the mice activities within 5 minutes.
6. Evaluation of the model
6.1 Observation of animal ethology: the number of times that mice enter into the open arms or close arms, the dwell time that mice stay in the open arms or close arms. The less number of times that mice enter into the open arms, the shorter dwell time that mice stay in the open arms, that the anxiety of mice is more serious.
6.2 The expression of gABA and Glu in brain: the concentration of gABA and Glu of medicated group were higher.
