p53 drives necroptosis via downregulation of sulfiredoxin and peroxiredoxin 3
On August 20, 2022, Juan Sastre, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Valencia, Spain, and his team published a paper titled “p53 drives necroptosis via downregulation of sulfiredoxin and peroxiredoxin 3” in Redox Biology. They described a positive feedback between mitochondrial H2O2and p53 that downregulates sulfiredoxin and peroxiredoxin 3 leading to necroptosis in inflammation and obesity. The kits [ELISA Kit for High Mobility Group Protein 1 (HMGB1), SEA399Mu] of Cloud-Clone brand was chosed in this article, we are so proud for supporting the reaserchers.Mitochondrial dysfunction is a key contributor to necroptosis. We have investigated the contribution o......

New drug delivery method for targeted treatment of gastric ulcer
Gastric ulcer (GU) is a major gastrointestinal disease caused by the imbalance between aggressive and defensive factors.Various factors such as pepsin, gastric acid, Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori), NSAIDs, prostaglandins, bicarbonate, and blood flow to mucosa play an important role in causing GU. Resistance to therapeutic drugs and limitations of traditional drug delivery methods limit the therapeutic effect of GU. In recent years, several research groups have reported various novel gastroretentive drug delivery systems, which will will be helpful in gastroretention of different dosage forms for treatment of GU.1. Metal-Organic-Framework-Based Hydrogen-Release Platform for Multieffecti......

Dynamic degradation patterns of porous polycaprolactoneβ-tricalcium phosphate composites orchestrate macrophage responses and immunoregulatory bone regeneration
On August 6, 2022,ZhengGuo, Department of Orthopaedics, Tangdu Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University, PR China, and his team published a paper titled “Dynamic degradation patterns of porous polycaprolactone/β-tricalcium phosphate composites orchestrate macrophage responses and immunoregulatory bone regeneration” in Bioactive Materials. They established a steady in vitro degradation model to investigate the changes in the physio-chemical and biological properties of PT scaffolds during degradation. The kits [ELISA Kit for Interleukin 10 (IL10), SEA056Mu] of Cloud-Clone brand was chosed in this article, we are so proud for supporting the reaserchers.Biodegradable polycaprolact......

New findings in cardiomyopathy
Cardiomyopathy is a relatively rare and refractory myocardial disease caused by genetic and environmental factors.Cardiomyopathy is classified into dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, restrictive cardiomyopathy, and unclassified cardiomyopathy. Major risk factors includes family history of cardiomyopathy, coronary heart disease, obesity, long term high blood pressure, alcoholism, chronic kidney disease and diabetes. Clarification of the genotype–phenotype correlation is needed to develop the precision medicine in cardiomyopathy. In addition, elucidation of the mechanisms involved in cardiomyopathy onset and progression......

Specific anti-glioma targeted-delivery strategy of engineered small extracellular vesicles dual-functionalised by Angiopep-2 and TAT peptides
On August 6, 2022, Guosheng Cheng, School of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, University of Science and Technology of China, China, and his team published a paper titled “Specific anti-glioma targeted-delivery strategy of engineered small extracellular vesicles dual-functionalised by Angiopep-2 and TAT peptides” in Journal of Extracellular Vesicles. They showed that utilization of the dualmodified small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) represents a unique and efficient strategy for drug delivery, holding great promise for the treatments of central nervous system diseases. The kits [ELISA Kit for Creatine Kinase MB Isoenzyme (CKMB), SEA479Mu; ELISA Kit for Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), S......

Targeting ferroptosis for liver disease
Ferroptosis, a regulated program of cell death, results from the mis-controlled accumulation of membrane lipid peroxidation in an iron-dependent manner, which is distinguished from other programmed cell deaths such as apoptosis, necrosis or pyroptosis. Factors including the depletion of glutathione (GSH), and the inhibition of cystine/glutamate antiporter system or glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) can trigger ferroptosis. On the other hand, ferroptosis can be inhibited by iron chelators (e.g., deferoxamine), and lipophilic anti-oxidants (e.g., N-acetyl-L-cysteine, ferrostatin-1, and vitamin E). Notably, ferroptosis is closely related to the development and control of various liver disea......
