Skeletal Muscle Fibroblasts (SMF)

Skeletal muscle fibroblasts are isolated from the muscle tissue of the limbs. Skeletal muscle fibroblasts are long columnar multinucleated cells, belonging to the striated muscle. The striated muscle also includes the myocardium and visceral striated muscle, and skeletal muscle mainly distributed in the limbs. Each muscle has a certain form, structure, and function, with rich distribution of blood vessels and lymph nodes. Skeletal muscle fibroblasts are fibrous, unbranched, with obvious horizontal stripes, numerous nuclei, and all located below the cell membrane. There are many fine filamentous myofibrils arranged parallel to the cell's long axis within muscle cells.
