The vas deferens epithelial cells are single-layer, multinucleated, usually 2-5, with several nucleoli in the nucleus; The cytoplasm is filled with a large number of rough endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complex, as well as visible and small vesicles, containing flocculent or granular substances; Free ribosomes can be seen everywhere; Mitochondria are relatively few; The vas deferens form a seminal capsule, which is secreted by the seminal vesicle and stores semen. Sperm enters the vas deferens and is surrounded by secretion from epithelial cells; As the sperm move backwards in the tube, the secretion continuously increases and thickens, eventually surrounding the sperm into clusters and forming cylindrical sperm pods.
