Collidine (Col)

Colidine is a colorless transparent liquid. Toxic nitrogen oxides are produced during the combustion process. Used to manufacture other chemicals. Colidine has several isomers: 2,3,4-trimethylpyridine, 2,3,5-trimethylpyridine, 2,3,6-trimethylpyridine, 2,4,5- Trimethylpyridine, 2,4,6-trimethylpyridine and 3,4,5-trimethylpyridine. The molecular weight of all isomers is 121.18g/mol and the chemical formula is C8H11N. It is a kind of organic base, usually a spicy oily liquid, belonging to the pyridine class, extracted from bone oil, coal tar, naphtha and certain alkaloids.
